Our staff
Meet our dedicated pastors and their families here at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Pastor
Keith Watkins
“I rejoice at the privilege that God has given me for the past nineteen years to be the pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. We as a church have a strong heritage and solid foundation that the future can be built upon—always being reminded that our foundation is in Jesus Christ.
In these last days, may we be a church that will be found faithful, preaching and teaching the Word of God, never backing up one inch, but always mindful to love others like Christ, knowing that it is the goodness of God that leads men, women, and children, to redemption. I love my family that God has blessed me with and I thank them for supporting and serving with me here at Pleasant Hill. And thank you to my faithful wife for serving with me in the ministry.”

Youth Pastor
Jason Cox
“Since the spring of 2012, it has been my privilege to serve as the youth pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. I was profoundly impacted by youth ministry, and I know firsthand the great effect the middle school and high school years can have on a teenager. I would not be in ministry today if God hadn’t allowed my life to be turned upside down during that time. It’s my hope that God will allow my life and ministry to impact youth for the glory of God.
It’s been such a wonderful journey to see countless salvations, many teens surrendering to God’s will for their lives, and to see students grow in their faith. Although we always have fun in our youth group, our main focus is to cultivate an environment where students can personally experience the life-changing power of God and grow in their faith.”
Pastor Jason and his wife, Kella, have been married for twelve years, and have two wonderful kids, Ava and Nolan. They are lifelong residents of the Leicester community
